"Esprit de corps" - The spirit of the group.
One of our groups, selected from A cappella, is dedicated to singing music that is more "Popappella" than anything else. We have a group of 16-20 students who arrange and perform more contemporary music of various styles, accompanying themselves with a student band. They perform regularly throughout the community at concerts, local events like Light Up The Highlands, hospitals, malls, and even at the various ski resorts in Colorado each December after finals. In February, this amazing group puts on their own themed show as the culmination of their annual effort. Through all of this, they become a very tight-knit family and learn what it means to work together for the good of the group.
